New parrot owner

[FINN]

Hi my name is Yvonne and I own an African Grey parrot called Finn who as just turned 1.
Finn is great company and I think that he will be a chatterbox.
It's nice to know that there are lots of owners out there to call on for advice .
I have had dogs all of my life but owning a Parrot is a whole lot different !
You need lot's of patience .

Yes, owning a parrot is so very different than owning a dog! So many of the ways they think, react, communicate, etc are so different. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome, I'm also fairly new here! I also have dogs and a bird (will be adding a second!). I love them all the same. So very different, but both are rewarding, amazing companions.
