Hello, I just want to put a word out concerning new perches/toys I am actually a manufacturer of natural bird perches I have been for over 10 years I go to a lot of bird marts and hear many comments about new furniture and birds that are scared or frightened of new things, if you do add items often your bird will need to "process" new thing, this is how to properly add items to the skittish ones cages. Place the new item outside of the cage where it can be seen by the bird, for a day, then the next day attach it to the outside of cage, on the 3rd day take bird out and attach to the inside ...this will introduce your bird to the new item and make the transition easier, You wont be saying "well that was a waste of money !!
Make any good sense to anyone out there with this issue??

Some birds are fine with the product in a short time, others take weeks or months. It's best to go at the bird's pace.

Just be patient. Birds adjust pretty quickly.
