Hello!

I have a two year old lovebird male. He is a happy, healthy and active bird. Today I heard him make a new sound and I don’t know if I should be concerned or not.

Has anyone come across this type is sound before? Can’t find anything about it online. Can’t of hard to explain, but it’s like a squeezing sound, or almost like a creaking/squeaking sound.

Again, he is healthy. Eats and drinks as normal, very active, the poop is normal… So I don’t know what, or if, I should to something about this.

Tell me what you know or think about this.
A video is attached. (Note: turn up the volume to hear the sound. You can hear it twice or trice)

Welcome to the forum! I don't have any experience with Lovebirds in particular, but the sound doesn't seem concerning to me. He looks happy, and you said that everything is normal. I occasionally hear a quick sneeze sound from my Budgies.

My budgies sneeze sometimes especially after drinking or bathing. Some of my budgies, the big male English budgies, croak like frogs- very un-budgielike. I can hear it across a quiet room. I've tried to get an audio of it but they always stop.
Parrots' throats are capable of making all sorts of unexpected, unusual sounds. Their sounds are produced differently from how mammals' throats' make sounds so the range of sounds is very broad. Unless the sound is wheezey, accompanied by rhythmic tail bobbing and sounds respiratory, I wouldn't worry.

By the way, I couldn't hear the sound well at all but he is a real cutie! Unusual colors and he looks very healthy, too!

My lovie doesn’t make this particular noise, but your guy looks alert and happy. I think it’s probably just a noise that he has learned to make. As others have said, if he’s acting otherwise healthy, eating, drinking, pooping, & not having any breathing issues, he’s probably just learning a new sound.
