You have to be patiance, you are doing great proges in only 6 days. Just take it easy othervise you can lose the progres.

Ok thanks... But when he step up on my hand I try to reward him some treats but he wint take, instead of throwing on the floor.
And when he step-up he will nipping my hand around, but it's not pain at all. So how do I stop him doing this habit? Cos from what I know some bird cant understand our human language. Say out "NO" it useless.

Amazons use their beaks for communication & to balance theirselves as they climb around. Learn his body language, try to avoid the bite rather than trying to train him not to bite. They like to call the shots w/their interaction w/ us. Just take it slow & give him time to trust you.

Ok thank for ur advice. But actually I dunno his body language at all. So it hardly to understand him. He is already on my hand, how am I going to avoid the nip?

Try rolling your hand, causing him to loose his balance. That should help. You have an amazon, you're going to get bit occasionally. lol

When he pins his eyes, could be a sign of aggression. Beak open, feathers on head up & wings raised are also signs. Dont worry he will have you trained soon.

If i understand you correctly, he steps up when he's away from his cage, and won't step up when on his cage. This is because he wants you to take him back to his cage. His cage is where he feels safe.If he steps up put him back on his cage and tell him "good boy" , Don't take him away from his safe spot until he trust you better. The trust and bonding will take time (weeks/months),keep feeding him treats and learn to read his thoughts (difficult I know), he wants to be with you but has to trust you first. Put yourself in his place, he's afraid of new things and needs to learn that you are his freind. He wants to be part of your flock but does not know his place in the flock yet, he needs you to help him.

Gauging from the dark eyes i'd say less than 1 year old, more likely maybe 6 months or less, young bird to be sure.

Hi, it's anyone know this leg band mean, "135 PV-12 5"???

Sorry but that band numbers could mean anything,Could the store you got him from help you to contact the breeder/broker ?

I dun think the bird shop will still remember the leg band... Actually I just want to know where is my bf zon come from.
