- 2 indian ringnecks, 2 senegals, a medium sulphur crested cockatoo, a greenwing macaw and various rescues anf fosters that pass through.
Hi guys
I am new here and would like to introduce myself.
My two oldest birds are two indian ringnecks (green and yellow). The are a bonded pair, although they are both males, and the are both 14 years old.
Next in line is a medium sulphur crested cockatoo, Lucy. She is 12 years old, and I have had her about 9 month now. She had a horrible life, and came to me completely naked. She is now fully feathered, flying and jus overall a happy girl.
Then I have two senegals. Kabouter was found in the garden, and his owners never located. I have no idea how old he is. Jamie is almost 3 years old, and he doesn't have a gender. His sexual organs never developed.
Zaro is an 18 month old greenwing macaw. He was clipped by a breeder when he was a baby, and then his clipped feather were pulled by a vet. It is now one year later and stil those feathers hasn't come back. I am however hopefull that hell get his wings back someday.
Beside from my own birds, I also take in rescues and fosters. I work with them and rehibilitate them, after which they are adopted out to forever homes. I take in 2 at a time.
I am so busy with work, studies and the birds that I do not really have time for other hobbies.
