New to the forum

Hello everyone,

I want to take a few moments to introduce myself. My name is Betty Baker. I have 3 wonderful children. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats and one goffin cockatoo Koda. I grew up with alot of animals including birds. Koda is my first parrot that i ever owned. I did have other birds, (finches.and parakeets)
He came to me almost one year ago from someone who didn't have the time for him. He is a wonderful bird that I love dearly. The moment I got him I took him to a vet who specializes in birds. They trimed his beak, and toe nails. They took blood and did a skin scrap due to the fact that Koda picks his feathers. Koda was found to be in perfect health. Koda eats a pellet diet called zupreem, eats fresh fruit and veggies, he gets no sees of anykind. I have lots of questions and i can't wait to read some of the posts in this forum. I look foward to meeting many people here.
