Hello everyone! My name is Chuck and I am very happy to be a new member of this community. My girlfriend and I own a green cheek conjure, a blue front amazon, a blue and gold macaw and we recently adopted a green wing. We are in search of a quality stainless steel cage for our new family member. We have an Animal Environments stainless macaw cage for our blue and gold and we couldn't be happier. The quality of their cages is unequaled. We want the same cage for the green wing. Any help tracking one down would be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, and welcome!
Yeah, they're such fabulous cages, huh?
I recall looking for one back in the 80s when the Rickeybird was young. I was a penniless student at the time and declined in view of the expense, buttttttttttt... 30 years later (and 6-7 standard cages later), I SO wish I had bitten the bullet and just bought stainless. They cost about 800 back then, and I've spent (easily) a few thousand since!
Good for you, for going stainless. And good luck with your search and purchase!

welcome! I think your question is missing something. That specific cage can be ordered on line.

Welcome to the forums! Are you looking for a new or used cage?

A used cage in good condition that saves me some major dough would be awesome. Otherwise I suppose I am biting the bullet.

SS is terrific, but I would give consideration to a used cage if possible. Cost of course, but some SS cages are made from inferior materials and tarnish. I have purchased 2 over the years; the difference is night/day. Purchasing used saves $ and allows you to determine how it wears over time.

Good point. I meant track down a used one. Thank you for pointing out my mistake.

No mistake at all! Hope you find one, they are probably scarce.
