That's a very nice stand, nice looking too...I have made many like this myself and they are quite easy to make yourself if you have the necessary tools and wood/branches, the rope toys/parts that are hanging from them can be purchased literally for $1 at any Dollar Tree as they are sold as Dog toys there, amazingly. They have the rope loops and the knotted ones, and you can make all kinds of different hanging rope "perches/swings/toy holders" out of them...And the bases can either be built easily from plywood/lumbar you buy at Lowes/Home Depot, OR you can buy an already-built square base just like that, in different sizes, from any Walmart in the arts/crafts aisle that has the different wooden crates and such...The sell already-built square bases just like that for $10 or less depending on how large you buy, everything from small table-top bases to large floor bases like this...
Question for you on the one you bought here though...How did they attach the individual branches to the main "trunk" and to each other? That's always what varies the most between Tree-Stands like this, the way that they actually attach the individual branches to the stand and to each other..Some actually nail them, some use a heavy-duty epoxy/glue, some tie them tightly using jute/hemp, etc. I have done it all different ways and haven't found one that was better than the others...I always get to the same point when building one of these and get stumped...I build the square base that is actually "hollow" underneath so that the bottom of the main trunk can drop through and be secured, i find a main-branch to be the main "trunk" of the stand and get it secured to the base, and then I'm ready to start designing where the branches go as far as attaching them to the main-trunk and then the ends of them to each-other, an I always hesitate on how I'm going to attach them...
