Hi my name is nikki and I have 2 conures. My boy(jay jay) is 15 months old and hes a nanday conure and my girl(mango) is a jenday that we think may be 5 yeears old. Jay Jay is the best bird in the world and Mango is a cuddly friendly girl too. Mango was a rescue and the people we got her from did not know much about her. They thought she was a sun conure and they thought she was agressive so they did not interact with her. When she came to us she had been living in a guina pig cage for a few days with no perches or food and water dishes just a hand full of food thrown in the bottom of the cage. The cage was hanging on a nail on the outside of their house. When I asked how old she was they looked at her and screwed up their faces and said "If I had to guess I would say like 5 years old". She has a few green feathers mixed in with the yellow on her head. She is very sweet and loves to cuddel and ride around on your shoulder. We are working on step up and she is learning fast. We love her very much but we wonder how old she is. I do have an apointment to take her to the vet but I am way to impatient and curious to wait lol. I do have pictures but you can not see the green in them.
