What's going on guys and gals? My name is Brandon and I just adopted Jazzy, a Blue and Gold Macaw. She is 18 years old and loves to talk. I found her while looking for an AG to adopt and decided to go meet her and it was love at first sight. We got her home and are letting her get use to her new home.

Update: After we got home, Jazzy didn't want to have anything to do with me for about 3 weeks. Took my wife about a week of working with her to get use to her.

I had to leave for the month of August due to training. While I was gone, Jazzy really took to my wife. After coming home, it took a couple of days of working with her and she let me start playing with her.

Now we all get along great. She is still a little territorial about her cage and she doesn't like things that roll. She will scream her head off. Hopefully with some time and patience we can work these traits out of her.

All and all she is great to have around and really sweet. She definitely loves attention lol.

I will get some more pictures up ASAP.

The picture just got my attention! What a great picture. I love seeing a manly man with birds because some people think that birds are for girls and tease my hubby...hahaha
I think you have to be a man to take the strong gripping on your arms while you drive though! Jazzy is beautiful!
