Hello my name is Harry, I'm 33 years of age father of 4 children. Three daughters and one boy (actual children) I also have a lot of avian children. 3 sun conures that love to scream! 1 green cheek conure, a pair of lovebirds,a cockatiel and a Congo african grey. Always looking to further my knowledge on My pets. I have never been a part of a community like this, so have some patience with me. Thanks, Harry

Welcome to the forum! So many awesome people here, you'll be amazed by all that you've learned after a few short months :)

Do you have any photo's of your fids?

And two important birdie words on the forum,
Fid = feathered kids
Parront = parrot parent

Have fun! Always great to bring new people here

Welcome to the forum Harry.....hope you find it helpful & to your liking.....

While we have keepers, I've not found them to present too matronly or stodgy a demeanor, though I don't think I would trust them to spare the rod & spoil the child.....I'm sure any & all are capable of knuckle cracking with ruler or board pointer.....

Enjoy your stay.....

Glad to have you joining our wonderful forum
Enjoy

Hello Harry! Welcome to the forum. :D So glad you found us and joined. :)

How did you make out with the recent tornado? We lived in Lawton for 8 years, and I STILL miss Oklahoma! Wished we had retired there. :o

It was to close for comfort. I actually live about 4 miles north of here the tornado touched down. I have seen many in my life,but none that huge. Living in Oklahoma, it's just a matter of time till one gets close :(

Hello Harry! Glad to hear you weren't in that nasty storm! Welcome to the forum and looking forward to pics.

Whew! MUCH too close for comfort, I'd say. :eek: Very happy to hear you were spared :)

I certainly do NOT miss the severe weather sirens going off. :o

Welcome to the forum! It's a great bunch of people here, with A LOT of great information! And very friendly, too. :rainbow1:

Fid = feathered kids
Thank you for that, I have been trying to figure out what that acronym meant for the last two weeks! :54:

Welcome to the forum!! I also have a conure and she is just barely learning to scream and I think she likes it!

Harry, are you and your family ok? I about choked when I saw you had yet another tornado! :(

Thank you everybody for your concern. My family and I are fine thankfully, I myself work at Will Rogers World airport and came very close to the tornados. There where other not so lucky (7 perished) lots of destruction!

Glad you and your family are okay, it must be the most scary devastating thing to go through and witness.
