Hello,
My name is LouLou and I'm new here. I have a B&G Mac who is the best antidepressant ever! Saleh is 11 yrs old, and I rescued her 2 months ago. She is such a good girl. She was loved in her previous home, but I wholeheartedly disagreed when her previous owner told me that if Saleh did something "wrong" she would slap her. I was so shocked! I'm not sure why she felt that hitting her was appropriate behavioral modification, but to each his own. Anyway, suprisingly Saleh is a very loving girl. Understandably, the road to bonding has been slow but very rewarding. I absolutely love this girl, and she seems happier here than with her original owner. I actually was able to rescue her because I did in home daycare for the previous owner who was a single mom with twin infant boys. I fell in love with Saleh instantly. The twins' Mom couldn't believe that Saleh liked me immediately. Within the first 3 days of babysitting, she would dance on my arm, sing, and say "Goodbye!" when I left for the evening.
I have many questions, but there is so much valuable content here that I could probably read for a year before I exhausted all of the threads! I'm excited to meet other B&G owners!
