Newbie to forum and Too ownership

Hello. I am new to all of this. I just adopted two Cockatoos five days ago. Duke, 4 years old and Duchess, 8 years old. I am the third mommy for Duchess and second to Duke. The family I got them from started working 12 hour days and was unable to give them the attention they deserve. They said that the birds started to get mean due to all the time they were spending alone in the cage. I dont have any pics on my pc yet but I will soon.
