Newbie to the forum but not to birds :)

Hi all just wanted to introduce myself before I started exploring the forum. I've been working with birds professionally for about 8 years as an exotic Veterinary Technician in Illinois. I currently work for a holistic vet that specializes in traditional and holistic medicine with exotics. I have two Conures (a Sun and a Blue Crown), the Sun (Sierra) was a rescue and the Blue Crown (Barry) I've had since he was a baby (14 years young). I may be adopting a Greenwing in the next couple weeks. Going to meet him this Sunday and go from there! =)

We may not make it out to visit "Merlin" today due to the snow. I'm still hoping we can! Just got an urgent message from a local rescue that they just had a greenwing dumped but he's not tame and he's "older". They don't have the room for him at the rescue. This breaks my heart because I wish I could take them all.
