Hi everyone,
We just got a gorgeous Rainbow Lorikeet the other weekend who we've named Charlie (See avatar). He's 4mths old (well the lady *thinks* he's a boy and so we'll go with that) and very tame. My hubby actually wanted a bird and loves lorikeets, turns out I am the one caring for him and I love it. He's got such a personality and I love how he's so excited to see me when I come home from somewhere. He sits on my head chattering away to me.
I'm not exactly the best expert, actually only know what I learnt while studying vet nursing. But have bought lories & lorikeets to read up. Any useful info would be great! I am worried I may bore him at some stage so anything to keep him mental stimulation would be fantastic as although I am home a lot, sometimes I do go out for a few hours.
