What are your bird nicknames? I have only had Lily for a short time and already she has so many nicknames.
Lily
Silly Lily
Lily Bug
Lily Bird
Little Feather
Little Nugget 😂
Little Chicken
Little Birdie
Little Duck (she makes a duck sound)
Bad Bird (I sing to the tune of Taylor Swift "Bad Blood" when she screams or bites)
I imagine I shall think of many more pet names for my buddy.
What are your favorite birdie pet names?

It is amazing how quickly we place distraction names in place. And surprise, they look at us with that: 'Like What,' look!

Big Bird,
Boo Bird,
Who,
Who Bird,
Goose - He's got a Canada Goose down cold! He had the people from the Canada Goose Control company searching around our home for an hour looking for that 'Goose.' Amazon's clearly have more fun messing with the Human Mind!

We work at keeping them to a minimum thus keeping the 'Like What' looks at a minimum.

Feathered fuhrer
Gooter(name from 6 year old)
Goose man
Lol I like this thread
Amazons full name is Baron Von Bonkers(we just call him bonkers and that's how he introduces himself) and the hulk(big, green, mean) when he is displaying but he isn't home yet so I'm sure I'll find some more.

Wow, I n never thought of them as distraction names - good point, 'Boats.
Salty has several nicknames we use, hopefully he recognizes them as being Him.
Salty
Salty-boy
Saltster
Buddy-boy
Cheater ( used when he tries to weasel a second treat for doing one trick )

Kiwi has so many nicknames, he's hardly ever called by his actual name:rolleyes:

Gentle friend (wishful thinking:p)
Buddy
Big guy
Cthulhu (for obvious reasons)
Pooper

Yours too huh? Kiwi also makes a very scary realistic goose honk. Cracks me up! And if you spend enough time around him, you know the difference between a happy honk, an angry honk or a sad honk.

Yup! Like I said, he had 'two' Experts wandering around the outside of our house for an hour! When they come into the sub-division now, they check if our windows are open first. Our little devil moved around the interior of the house calling out the different windows. Then the 'Experts' would 'call' and he would move to another window and honk. Way to funny!

So, there are the two of us; What's Julio doing? I don't know? Are there Geese in our Yard? Not seeing any! Did you call the Control People? No! Well they're here! Why? and, then the LIGHT BULB GOES ON!

My dear wife was the one that picked-up on the emotion clues in the different honks.

I've only had Lucille for 2 days, and I already call her Lucy, Lu-Lu, Little Lady, and Bird Brain. My dad calls her Eagle (because that's what he wanted me to name her--the Pink Eagle, lol).

For some reason, I can't recall the Rickeybird being called anything except that. Other than certain people's generic epithets, I mean. Oh, wait, I call him a monkey sometimes. I abbreviate him to RB or Rbird, but only when I'm writing. Poor baby, he deserves some nick-names. I'll get to work!

That is just too funny. Kiwi used to get a kick honking at the actual geese down by a pond we used to live within walking distance of. He also hoots like an owl. When theres an owl outside hooting, he hoots back. Speaking of, thats another nickname we have for him- the foul owl:D That one originated a long time ago when he still had a foul attitude most of the time.

Skittles most common nickname is "Skitty", I call him that a lot. But when I give him a command, I always call him Skittles.

Other nicknames I call him are "you little skit", "booger", "wing-ed rat", "the neon nightmare".

I also call him, 'sweetheart', 'me'darlin', 'my bibby' and 'sunshine'.

Pink Eagle? A Peagle? Pingle? PRINGLE.

Haha these are all great! I just remembered that sometimes I call Lily Little Owl or Owlet because she turns her head around backwards 😂😂

I also call Skittles 'little stinker' cause he stinks of spoilage. lol. get it? 'spoiled' haha. okay, bad joke. My bad.

My, my, my. I have many affectionate, colorful and affirming nicknames for the Mrs.'s parrot. I decline to specify only because my fragile machismo would be threatened by such an obvious tenderness for the little monster.

Beau doesn't lend himself to too many nicknames. Just Beau Dee Peep, and Peep/Peepy (which was my nickname when I was a little girl).

Like other conures who strike terror in the hearts of SOs, he's also been called the Vampire, Beau Dee Vicious, and Bocephus (sp?) but I guess that last one isn't quite so telling...

Tootsie has a few. Toots. Woots. Wootsie Bird. Little Girl. Old Girl. (I know, Old Girl is not very flattering but she has earned it.) :)

Rosco just has Sco Bird.

Sidney just has Sid. Though he might also respond to "G#$ D*(#IT BIRD!" cause I say it often enough with him cause he earns it. :o

Oh, go ahead.
Impress us with your sensitive side.
