Do you call your bird any nicknames?
I call Oliver, "Olly".
Sometimes I call him "bord" because it's bird + boy combined!

Ahhhh yes...StanLee= Stan, Boogerbutt, Chicken Leggs, Babyboy, my sweet baby. Now my husband complains that I spend more time loving on that chicken legged boogerbutt than even the grandkids! Its probably true! BUT StanLee is here more and loves on me more! LOL and I have caught hubby trying to make friends with Stan too. (Stan hates all males) Hubby has gotten StanLee to give him kisses now so wow what an achievement.

I will never forget when my friend's mom asked me "The pink ones are czeszki, what species is Zenek?

I've heard even that if somebody speaks two Slavic languages, this person is able to understand ALL Slavic languages 😅 In speech I could agree cos they are similar, but in writing - hmm, it depends
btw I admire people who learnt speaking such hard language like Hungarian...

Interestingly polish is quite different/hard for me to understand, unlike Slovenian for example. Czech I could understand a tiny bit, but there is a higher chance a Czech person will understand me rather than I them xD

I've just reminded - it's hard to call it as nicknames, for people who speak Polish it's obvious that these names have other "variants" (usually making them nicer in sound)
Zenek: Zenuś
Jaś: Jasio, Jasiek
Fela: Felcia
Rozalka: Rozalcia (but I don't remind I use it too often - she's often too rude to call her as Rozalcia )

For Angela I don't remind any nicknames/name variants... or maybe just "niebieska" (blue) because she's the only our blue bird rn.
