Good news!

If you've been following Lincoln's story you might have heard that I was battling his toe tapping problem and even with many vet checks and blood works and any needed adjustments he would still toe tap. Some users here helped me theorize that maybe it was less of a health thing and more of a psychological "I'm bored" things. Now he has lots of toys and actively plays with them so that wasn't the problem, it was clearly the food as the toe tapping would stop when I changed his diet but start up again a few weeks later.

Anyways, came up with a plan of attack. For his chop he has 1 main batch of chop that has all the nutrients in it that he needs and 2 separate batches that were primarily herbs and food that are low in nutrition but high in flavor. So still healthy things but no "power foods" so I didn't overdose him on stuff and cause health related toe tapping. We have been giving him the main chop every day, but some days we will mix in the flavorful chops. For example day 1 he will get just plain nutritious chop. Day 2 he will have flavorful chop 1 mixed in with the nutritious chop. Day 3 he will have flavorful chop 2 mixed in with the nutritious chop. Rinse and repeat. Maybe some days throw some blueberries or grapes in. Or maybe a pepper for him to shred. Just change it up.

We've been doing this for at least a month now and he is doing SO well. I have not witnessed ANY toe tapping. I'm so happy for him.

Yay Lincoln, and double yay for you! The things we do for them, but it's so worth it! Serious dedication on your part. You're an amazing parront! Lincoln is a lucky little guy to have you! [emoji16]

I concur! You put in the work and Lincoln is now reaping the benefits! Great job finding a way to up the variety! Often we focus on variety as a means to cover everything our ekkies need. But this serves as a reminder that another benefit of variety is ensuring that they never get too much of one thing. Meal rotation works!

Congratulations. Your dedication is paying off!

Congratulations on your hard work, diagnostic skills, determination, and creativity !!
Glad you found something that is working and hopefully his toe tapping does not return.
Lincoln is very lucky to have such a dedicated parront :)
