This morning I sliced up watermelon and added it to chop then served. I hear "bam, bam, bam" from all three cages. All three fids tossed their watermelon out of their bowls, lol!!! They did eat their chop which was broccoli, carrots, peas, and kale. You'd think they'd like the sweet stuff, nope!

Ha ha they are fussy and know just what they like and what they dont and they have let you know in no uncertain terms that they are not impressed with the chefs presentation of water melon LoL :)

I thought the same thing - but Gracie hates it too she won't toss it tho she flipped the entire bowl each time I included it - took me a few times to figure out the trigger was the watermelon. Now broccoli she flings with complete disgust - usually right at me.

I still don't think it's just luck when they fling the food and actually hit you with it- 9 times out of 10 Gracie nails me ... I'd swear she smiles afterwards.

My flock hates melon too, melons are in season right now and I can't resist adding a little to their chop every day. I have a glimmer of hope, they all started eating mango several weeks ago after using it for projectiles for weeks.

My Harry has a wicked fastball, of course it's never a ball, it's usually vegetables, I am often her target but she likes to chunk food at the dogs too, she laughs while I comb food out of their hair. Sammy doesn't waste time working on his pitch, he just drops sticks on my head.

ROTFL!!! Yesterday Buddy slung corn at me and made his target, on my face. I tell ya, rough critics!

Wow, Salty pretty much eats every thing. And the bowl under his boing, where we eat meals catches all the droppsies.
