Noise when she poops

so this may be normal but whenever Keiko poops it makes a squeek like noise..her poop is normal and the vet has done checks for bacteria and parasites and everything came back normal...is this normal?

Is it a vocalization? Or is it coming from her vent?

I know that some of them make a squeal or a slight straining vocalization when they poop. But I've never encountered an audible 'squeak' coming from a bird's vent. You might pose the question to the avian vet when she goes in for the beak and nail trim.

My 2 GCCs do this as well. It's not exactly a squeak, almost like a barely audible pip. They are 100% healthy in every way, it's just something they do I guess. I know what you're talking about though.

Just as an example, my B&G, Jack, usually makes a slight vocalization when he poops. He's done it ever since he came to live with me in '81.

Oliver makes a purring sound as he poops, like a motor!

Sugar does, and it also comes from her vent. She's 100% healthy too. Loki makes a vocalization, and Hubs jokes that it makes it sound like he had to "squeeze it out", lol!

Sometimes Rosie's vent makes a quite pop/squeak when she poops, definitely from her vent.

Max makes them! We call them his squeaky butt farts lol.
