alexandrines : Oxy, Bruno, prince (was princess)
I have never owned a mature male before or seen one up close and personal until i got prince. after spending alot of time trying to comfort him today giving lots of kisses I've noticed his head (above his ring) has a blue tinge. Not just around the pink but his cheeks too. Is this normal in mature males or could it be a mutation?

That's normal :)

Thank you very much, that's one less thing for me to worry bout.... Heard mutations can have.health issues

Just because mutations can have health issues doesn't mean they do. Likewise, just because a bird is a normal/wild type color doesn't mean it doesn't have health issues. It depends on genetics, diet, environment, injuries, etc.

Btw, the following link may be of interest to you. There are different subspecies of alexandrines, so colors may vary.
