Hi guys and Gals,
I have noticed that my Ekie , Caesar isn't a very playful bird...He would prefer to sit on my shoulder rather than play with his toys etc.
He is 5months old and I am using the Clicker training method.......
But he dose get out of the house a fair bit.
any thoughts?

My ekkie isn't all that playful, either. Occasionally he'll ring his bell, but he couldn't care less about any of the other toys hanging in his cage. The lady who was his parront before me mentionedthat he was never one to play with toys from day one.

Mine isnt very playful either but then he is younger than your boy as well. But i notic ehe has pulled at a couple of toys but not much... Barry on the other hand is always swinging and ringing his bells and looking a fool!

Oliver loves to play with certain toys. He loves to shred, chew on thin pieces of wood, and Play with interactive toys such as one I recently bought--when he pushes the button it talks. He also loves to play with my dogs toys any chance he can get which I of course discourage. Also, I have a basket that I use to transport him and he loves climbing up and down like a big boy with freedom to roam...

Yeah Caesar tends to chew on the Iron Bark (Australian native eucalyptus trees) as well as Stringy bark etc.
But doesn't tend to go down to his toy box from his play area, witch is on top of his cage.
I put him on the floor and take his ladder away and empty his toy box (which is full, I am one of those people that cant pass a pet store to see what they have) and he just not interested.
