African grey parrot called Holly born 14/5/10
My 3 year old African Grey, Holly, has completely lost interest in chewing her toys. She used to demolish them and attack the furniture too! For several months now she just isn't interested. Other than this she seems happy and healthy, eating and drinking well, is talkative and acrobatic. I find the not needing to chew things strange and is it unhealthy?

If she was an avid chewer before, I would definately say something is "off". Have you had her checked by the vet? Perhaps there is a problem with her beak you can't see?

Any chance she is just being picky. Mine will completely ignore some toys. Others he will ignore while they are in his cage, move them to his play stand and he rip them apart

How often do you change her toys? Mine gets bored from their toys in 2-3 days. So if I don't change the toys they won't play. For example they were crazy about pine cones, but now they don't wont to play with it no more:(
