Got a too a couple of weeks ago. Didn't even think about this until looking for "safe wood" for her to chew since she's made matchsticks of everything I've given her. I have her out with the other birds (conures, amazon, lovebird) One Q/A board said they shouldn't be in same room with macaws, etc because they're dusty birds. I knew about the dusty part but didn't think about it bothering the other birds.
Will an air purifier work for this situation? Putting her across the room or is the dust too fine?
The rest of the house is cooler - and much lonelier. But I don't want to harm the other birds. Any advice?
Thanks

A purifire will work. I dont thing that the dust will harm other birds

Each morning l would get a spray bottle filled with warm water then give the birds a spray bath l have not found any bird that does not love a light spray !
P.s. ( remember not to over do the water as they are not ducks )
Have fun also keeps the dander down !

I have heard that it can cause breathing problems in other birds!

Thanks everyone. Does anyone know if any of the air purifiers are harmful - like hairdryers can be?
