Ode to Parrot Forums (revised 11-13-23)

"Roses are red. Violets are... " Nope.
Not gonna try to be clever.
I want to tell how I feel about you
Yesterday, now, and forever.

I'll never claim that I know sacred things.
No Holy Grail to discuss.
But in my heart shines a flickering beacon
Somehow it led me to Us.

Beckoning candle... bright sanctuary.
Your doors are open so wide.
Big as a starburst and small as an ember.
Our mission glows, deep inside.

E=mc2, Black Holes, Big Bang.
Mysteries, mysteries, plus...
Magic, Eternal, our Family aerie.
Our cyber lighthouse, our "Us".

Bravo!! Beautiful and touching work, Aunty G!! This place means so much to all of us who frequent it, the human members and all of their birds too. What a wonderful community we've got here, we're so lucky to have it when there is so much sadness elsewhere. Sadness here too sometimes, but we get each other through it. And we're lucky to have YOU here too, Gail, our everlasting rainbow, our brilliant starburst of Sunshine - we love you too
