Does anyone have info regarding "Ogreenic" frying pans? They claim to be non-toxic and all that, but I also see that they're made in china. Anyone use these?

I did some quick research and the package says it is PTFE and PFOA free. It's ceramic, which as far as I know is bird safe. I don't have birds yet, so I think we should wait for someone else to chime in with their opinions.

Yup it says its ceramic, but the underside definately is not ceramic. Mishka you know what I'm talking about since you have one. What is that mysterious substance that makes up the underside of the pan? Just because its PTFE free doesn't mean it's safe. Plus it's made in china, which always makes me nervous. I like the look and shape if the frying pan, but unless I know for sure I'm not getting it. The underside of the pan is some weird material, and that's the part in direct contact with heat.

Hmmm.. nothing was mentioned about that. I guess I'll stick to Pyrex when it comes time to get my kitchen stuff for my new place.
