old tshirts?

well were just about to get some rats and my mum plated knotted (whateva) an old tshirt into like a rope ladder although more like a huge triangle so it can attach to 3 walls in the rat cage just wondering if there is any reason to not do something like this for my conure as he likes a normal rope perch i have for him

Shouldn't be a problem, plus it might end up as a chew toy. It usually takes a couple of months for my guys to chew the shoulders off of one of my T-shirts.....
