How many people here have other pets and animals? And how do they interact (if at all) with your parrots?
I have two pomerainians and they must think that they are birds, or at least they are confused about what we all are. They are very respectful of birds. In fact my sweet cockatiel Zaphod used to chase my dog Max off me and the couch with his wings held out and beak wide open. My little girl dog (Schmoo) is shyer than Max and lives in awe of all the birds. I am always wary with dogs around birds, but Ive had Schmoo for two years and Max for seven and theyve lived with birds all their lives so I think theyre pretty safe.
In fact I have one bird who I had to watch to be sure the dogs are safe. She is not a parrot. She is a twenty year old saker falcon named Sky.
Sky is very calm most of the time. She likes to keep to herself for the most part. She is the only raptor I have ever known who shows absolutely no interest in my other birds.
I also have four barn cats who wont hunt anything larger than a kibble. They live in the barn (obviously).
And to really top off the feedbill I have an arabian mare, a percheron gelding and a welsh pony stallion. I am trying to get my arab mare to accept me the falcon in close proximity, but it is slow going.
