Our First Christmas With Venus!

We didn't find or bring Venus home until around 1/21/15 last year. I saw her and HAD to bring her home. She was THAT special. Since then we brought her home, and the relationship has been amazing. She has been amazing and loves our feeding and treat schedule.

Clearly her home environment was nothing prior to us. Now she and we can identify and point out accomplishments.

Adding a pic of Venus from yesterday. I showered, she didn't, she sat on the shower pole watching. She did try to redecorate the bathroom and we both stood our ground, I won, lol. Give her pomegranate and she's in heaven and I win, lol!

Venus' first Christmas with you? Sweet! You've shared so many adventures together that I bet it already feels like she's been a part of your family forever.

We're about to celebrate our first Christmas with Jolly, and I know he already feels like an integral part of our family as well.

How is Jolly doing? From posts he's doing GREAT!!! I don't mean to down things but I know you all miss Bixby so much.

Jolly's really good, Tracey! And still a complete nut carrying on with his crazy antics.

Oh yes, we still miss Bixby terribly. He was such a special bird, and we all felt a deep bond with him.

But we've bonded with Jolly and Maya now as well, and it's great to have a holiday season where our birds are happy and healthy.

This is going to be a good Christmas.
