are these little guys easy to tame? Have somone wanting to place 6 of them and wondering if we will be able to tame them or if they will be just something cute to look at? I am thinking of taking them in and finding them good homes. I worry when I see birds on craigslist

Hi, I have 6 budgies. 4 are tame and will come to me and step up, cuddles ect. The other 2 aren't tame because I haven't really made the effort as they are a breeding pair. They are very sweet and lovable. If you clip their wings it makes it a whole lot easier. Of course, older budgies are harder but with a lot of persistance......

They can certainly be tamed, as can every bird (and I mean every bird)! Budgies are actually very easily tamed, that is why they are recommended for children and families.
