For Amazon specifics, you can't go wrong with Rosemary Low's Amazon Parrots Aviculture, Trade and Conservation 2005 DONA Publishing House ISBN 0-9531337-4-5. It is out of print and on the pricey side, but well worth the search and the money. It devotes 5 1/2 pages to just the Tucuman Amazon, not that you are interested in such things.
One that I highly recommend for good, all around knowledge is Parrotlopaedia A Complete Guide to Parrot Care By Annette De Saulles and Neil Forbes 2003 Ringpress Books (Second printing 2008) ISBN 978-1-86054-285-5
I would stay away from the Barron's Guides as they are pretty generic: it seems like only one book was written and they just changed the species name and reprinted it as a new book. Older books will inevitably contain inaccurate information (out of date and supplanted with new research) but that is not to say they do not have value in your library.
The TFH and Barron's guides are notoriously generic. Ask your library to look for the books via inter-library loan. Virtually all US libraries belong to a consortium that lends their collection to other libraries on request. It may take some time, but there is the possibility that they can get these books. Be aware though, that chances are you will have a limited time to read them and you probably won't be able to renew
