Parrot safe foods

I was looking to see if Tums for your tummy was parrot safe. Nameliss on her outing discovered empty container on counter. It was waiting for recycling container trip. I got distracted when I found this site. Has anyone else seen or had experience with it? It could be a help.

Tums contains calcium carbonate, binders and fillers and flavoring. I've heard of people eating Tums as a calcium supplement and "the Internet" says its an effective source of dietary calcium.

I've heard of Tums being given to African Greys as a calcium supplement. DOn't know how good it is for them, tho, long term.
