Hey guys needing to get new pans!

What's your thought on this one? Would you believe it to be safe

It says that it’s PFOA free, but it does not say it’s PTFE free so I wouldn’t get it.

Why not consider stainless steel cookware? It’s a bit of a learning curve to cook in it if you’ve always used nonstick, but basically turn the heat down a little and you’ll do fine. And it will last for ages upon ages. My mom bought me a set for my HS graduation- in 1988 - and I only recently replaced it (less than 5 years ago) and then only because the plastic/resin/whatever handles were breaking. The cookware itself was still perfect.

100% cast iron pans last for generations.
If you learn how to season and maintain them they eventually develop very non-stick surfaces.

Slightly more work.
It was a bit of a hassle getting used to them, but once I did I never looked back.

You should ALWAYS call the manufacturer and ask them specifically if a Ceramic Non-Stick pot/pan or a set of Ceramic Non-Stick pots/pans is either "Bird-Safe", as a lot of companies now understand what that means and will actually designate their products as being "Bird-Safe" or not, or ask them if they contain "ANY Fluorinated Compounds, such as PFOA's, PFTE's, etc."...You have to actually ask them if they contain ANY "Fluorinated Compounds", because they are NUMEROUS, and there are a lot more than simply PFOA's and PFTE's...

I use a complete set of Ceramic Non-Stick pots and pans and they are totally Bird-Safe and contain no Fluorinated Compounds at all, but I first went to the store and found several different sets of Ceramic Non-Stick pots and pans that I liked, and I took a notebook with me and wrote down the name of the manufacturers, the model name and numbers of each individual set, and then I went home and found the phone numbers for each manufacturer and called them each...So there's nothing wrong at all with Ceramic Non-Stick pots and pans as long as you call the manufacturer and confirm that they contain no Fluorinated Compounds at all...

I second the ceramic pans, they are better than any "coated" pan i have ever used. i wish i went bird safe before i even got a bird! (but yes make sure they actually are bird safe)
