New Parrot owner of 6yo cockatoo.
Looking for advice on nonstick cookware that is safe for my bird.
Brand names would be great of safe ceramic pots/pans

With Ceramic it is all about Weight!
Heavy Steel Frame!
Heavy (thick) layer of Ceramic!

We use Cast Iron or Stainless Steel

Anything nonstick is unsafe, at least to my knowledge. I use cast iron and stainless steel.

Correct. Non-stick = not for you, doesn't matter what the advertising or brochure says. We use Stainless steel with a bit of spray on shortening or you can use light coat of olive oil.

Our family uses cast iron and copper-coated stainless steel (which I know can be expensive, my dad's a retired professional chef, so he uses that stuff a lot). Those would be your best bets, cast iron and stainless steel.

Another vote for cast iron and stainless steel. It seems pricey but it lasts forever. I have my mom's cast iron skillet that is over 50 years old, and I got a set of stainless cookware for my high school graduation (1988) that was still in perfect condition EXCEPT the resin handles were falling off (making it unusable) when I replaced it just a couple of years ago.

We use cookware from Caraway, it’s pricey but ceramic and supposed to be chemical free. We have had our set for a year now and no scratches or anything.
