Parrot Shenanigans

I moved Blue’s cage by a window to get him some natural light. I’m just thinking of his health. Instead I created a neighborhood Karen. He refuses to go back in his cage because he wants to sit on the very top of his cage (where I can’t get to him) to watch the neighborhood, and scream at everything that moves. If I close the curtains he just pulls them back, or breaks the blinds with his beak. Why? Just why? Out of everything a parrot can do why this?!?
