PB's name is practically set in stone now...

Today she started saying, "My name is PB." And she is so proud of it she's been saying it all day. We stood looking out a screen window today and some birds started really chatting it up outside. She got excited as usual and I braced myself for a loud call out to them. Instead, she says real loud, "My name is PB! My name is PB!" I was such a proud parront of my polite and proper girl introducing herself first.

I keep telling her she's a "little Einstein".

Tomorrow's mission: Record PB on video talking. Hopefully this will be easier than trying to get her to say it on the phone for my mother. That took multiple calls and finally a stroke of luck. Do animals have a secret pact to not make it easy for us to record their cuteness?!

I keep trying to get video, but it's not working. PB just will not cooperate. The phone comes out and she becomes silent. However, she has learned the "beep" sound my phone's camera makes and that has become this morning's new sound. Lots of beeping. When the camera is off. Only then.

Of course, the entire time I've been typing this she's been chattering away. So just now I grabbed the phone again and tried to get video. She instantly became quiet and started preening herself. I can hear her thinking, "Sorry mum, can't talk now my beak is full of feathers. Too bad. So sad."

I have to hide the camera from my guys, or they all give me a look like, what do you mean talk? I don't know how to talk!
They also refuse to talk around anyone new, just sit there giving me that are you crazy look.
