Hi All,

So, I have 3 conures and have gone every which way but the right way when it comes time for pelleted food. I never could get all 3 to agree on a specific brand. Then I was cruising Amazon a couple of weeks ago and came along "something MAGICAL".

What drew my attention was the fact that it had over 200 5-star reviews. So I bought a bag of course. It came in little gray squares and I immediately figured I had just wasted a lot of money. To my utter surprise, all 3 of my birds starting fighting over it like the squares were made out of solid gold, and the frenzy has not died down. In fact, I worry a bit that they are overeating because their bowl gets emptied out super fast with nothing on the ground.

The only problem is I got the coarse for my birds and they are little 1/4 x 1/4 squares and Winston loves to watch them float then bobs for them. So once a week I hammer the squares into bitty pieces. I will order the fine on my next go around. For our bird family, this stuff is solid gold. I hope I don't oops myself by bragging about it, but I wish I had found this years ago! Here is a link if anyone is interested:

I personally bought the high potency bag for the first go around as everyone has been molting like crazy and I figured it was a good way to catch up on any vitamins or minerals that were lacking in their diet. I'll most likey get the regular next time. I hope this helps someone.

Congrats! It is a well regarded food.
Harrison's also has a 'fine' version, but who knows maybe your flock likes the blocks. They are fickle little beings!

The Rb and I swear by Harrison's, and have for decades.
Rb is on the High Potency with vet's advice cuz he's on the skinny side.
Most people advise 6 months or so on the High and then transition to regular. Your vet can help you.
Congratulations!
Oh and by the way, you can order direct from Harrison's online. Not sure if it's less or more expensive, but I like it because I'm confident about the storage and "best if used by" dates...

Congrats! My girl loves Tops pellets and sometimes zupreem natural. I've tried and tried with Harrison's and she just won't touch it. I do a combo of all three. Harrison's gets tossed every time.
