Parrots
Acorn - a Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conure;
Bob - a Cockatiel;
Cricket - an American Budgie
When I got Bob she would not eat her pellets. I would mix them into her seeds and I would watch her pull them out and drop or throw them.

Her first vet visit was about a week after I got her and the vet suggested that I offer her seeds in one dish and pellets in a second. I thought the advice was questionable, but saw no harm in trying, so I got Bob another dish and as soon as I sepperated the two she was eating pellets.

When I got Delilah I was told that she had never been offered pellets. I gave her a dish for pellets and a dish for seeds, and by the second day I had her she was eating the pellets.

They both had more than enough seeds when they started eating their pellets.

I hope someone finds this useful.
