Peta, my adorable little GCC.

These pics will be of Peta Conchita Bonita, my little pineapple green cheek conure. I found out Peta was in need of a new home through a friend of a friend of her owner. The lady had just gone through a divorce and had to take on extra work which left her no time to spend with Peta. She wanted to find someone Peta liked since she hated her husband and men in general. I went to visit Peta & she came right to me & sat on my shoulder.

Peta is a very sweet girl, she is 5 yrs. old and she loves my husband. She has been a pleasure to have in my flock. Here are a few pics of the little sweety. The last one is of her cage I bought on the way home from picking her up. Her old cage was way too small for her.

She looks very happy and that is an amazing cage....makes me think my Rico's cage isn't as good as it should be....but I do have him out of it as much as possible

I tell ya', that cage...I could very well split it in half & put another one in the bottom part. I don't think Peta has ventured down past the upper part of the cage since she moved in. But at least she knows she has the 'basement' if she wants to stretch her wings.

She was in a tiny cage when I picked her up that even one of my budgies would have hated. Her other Mom did love her & she is well adjusted & sweet, so I have to thank her for that.
