Pippi, my white-bellied caique
I finally got around to building a playgym for Pippi...now I can have my dresser top and desk back (I hope). :D It's made of PVC wrapped in vet wrap hanging from sisal rope. Of course, she likes the ropes that it hangs from more than the actual perches. Oh well...

Pippi's new playgym is awesome
He is going to have loads and loads of fun and entertainment
A job well done

Thanks...it still needs tons more toys of course! ;)

Awesome job! By the way, love the pictures on your wall! ;)

Pippi looks quite happy with your effort. Great job, I enjoy DIY projects like this as you can always tweak and revise where you see change needs to be made.

My room is pretty much covered with pictures of birds...plus one real one! :P

I definitely agree. It's all just PVC stuck together, so I can always take it apart and remake it differently if I want to. And the best part is that the hole thing cost less than $20!!! :D

wow nice job. she looks like she's enjoying it a lot. definately needs some toys though. ;)

That looks like a lot of birdy fun. Do the pvc parts just fit snugly together or do you use the vet wrap to make it tighter fit?

They fit together tightly enough. I just wrapped the vet wrap on after I put the whole thing together.
