Plucking

Do amazons pluck themselves? I do not think I have seen one. I think I have seen macaws, cockatoos, and African greys.

Rare for zons to pluck, usually caused by disease. Zons are very adaptive and "stable".Some times in non compatible breeding pairs the male will pluck the head/neck of a hen. Other than that, uncommon behavior.
