Poppy's brattiness backfired

Poppy decided to live up to her notorious Too reputation today. She woke up in a sunshiny mood, she was loud, destructive, and over the top. Best of all, she was having fun. She kept climbing off her play stand to investigate possible opportunities to make colossal messes. I returned her to her stand several times and then decided to see where she was headed. A lamp with a waterfall turned out to be the object of her interest. I unplugged the lamp before she reached it. She tried using it for a shower but it just wasn't big enough, water is always better when it's on the move, so she slapped most of it out of the basin. Then the empty cage next to the lamp caught her attention. The door was open and the owner was out visiting friends, Poppy went in to have a quick look. I left the room to grab a mop and cleaning supplies, when I came back, this is what I found. Apparently while Poppy was batting Harry's toys around she was distracted by the lock on Harry's cage, only this time she was on the wrong side of the door and instead of letting herself out, she locked herself in. I know it was evil of me, but instead of releasing the little princess, I grabbed a camera.

Oops! How did this happen?

Man Mom, you grabbed the camera and documented the break in? What if the owner came home? You were not being her wing woman, not helping her hide it, lol! That is awesome! Two days ago I heard a crash from Buddy's cage. He figured out how to dismantle his foraging wheel, it fell, he flew out of his cage (door was open) and I found him sitting on the floor under Canelo. All three dogs and Buddy were staring at the cage, lol.

Julie, Harry goes to visit Sweet Pea, Zeke, and the budgies as soon as her door is open. She stays in their room until it's time to go back in her cage.

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! Poppy is a sweetheart but she can get herself in trouble so fast. Haha! I did let her languish in her self made cell longer than necessary. I couldn't resist her look of shock. It was the catch at the top of the door that got her. I have it tightened so it was up until Poppy closed the door behind her and it must have swung shut, then in a bid to free herself she actually closed the latch.
