I was wondering today why Cinnamon GCCs have a bigger beak size than say, regular, yellow sided or pineapple GCCs? This is possibly a dumb question but I'm just curious :30:

They don't in general. A different bird may have a slightly larger beak because of genetics or early nutrition, but it is not mutation based. If you notice that many cinnamon birds seem to carry that trait, I would remind you that we are on an island with very milted bloodlines. There could very well be something in the genetics HERE that isnt universal :)

Interesting thank you! I was wondering because Petco has an array of green cheeks in and noticed all the mutations have smaller beaks but the cinnamons have larger ones.

All the birds at Petco on Oahu come through the same breeder. You may notice all the GCCs from there have a band that says ALOHA. so the chances of every single one of the cinnamons there being related is quite high.
