POSSIBLY Going To Have A New Addition

I know it is really soon and I am working with Bruno and Skittles. BUT I share a place with my mother who is retired (I am 25 and pay 95% of the bills and pay for all the animal food and care). She is a huge bird lover and shares in the attention and training of our current birds. So it's not like I am alone in this.

But I have been talking with this girl on another forum who lives pretty close by...She is wanting to rehome her 2 year old blue and white female budgie. She has said that the budgie is super sweet and tame and she just doesn't have time for her anymore.

As you all know I have been dreaming of owning a budgie someday. I was more interested in a male. But a female is fine too! I even have space to quarantine her and lots of time to spend with her. And she would be coming with her own cage.

Right now the current owner and I are just in the talking stage of things. Getting to know each other and if this little bird would be the right fit. So it might happen....It might not.

But I just wanted to share

Me too! Right now she is discussing it with her husband. I am hoping everything works out. But if it doesn't, then it wasn't meant to be, and the perfect budgie still may be out there waiting for me .

Well the blue parakeet ended up going to someone else. But she had a green and yellow 3 year old male I didn't know about, that she was also thinking of rehoming. Long story short I am picking him up tomorrow.

Lol I am officially bird brained and at my bird limit!
