And here's the story how I got him: Almost 3 years ago I decided to sell my 180 gallon reef tank because I REALLY wanted a Macaw. I had lost my beloved Magna Double Yellow Head "Quincy" that same year due to a sudden illness.

So anyhow, in December of 2009, after making numerous phone calls to nearby breeders and stores, I found one that had a "few" B & G's. They also had young GWs at the time, and the first time I walked into their place, looked around, I was dumb-struck - in awe. THEN I walked by Niko's enclosure and our eyes met. There he was, with his sibling, just 6 weeks old, and it was love at first sight. :21: I had VERY little money in my wallet and NO credit card on hand, and begged the owner to take whatever little money I had as a down payment for Niko.

She accepted!

I visited Niko 2-3 times a week (over 60 miles one way) until he was weaned.

And I will never forget the day I was finally able to bring him home. My Niko will be 3 on October 28th.

hehe i cant believe how babyish fargo looks compared to niko when you actually put their photos together... nikos feathers are MUCH nicer

Oh my cuteness!!!!!!!! Nah, he doesn't look babyish. He's a VERY VERY handsome young fellow!! Wait until his eyes change, and he does the "pinning". THAT looks intimidating, lol.
