Your budgie is gorgeous but poor pippβ€”is that male pattern cockatiel baldness? Does it fill in? Or is he yanking his crest feathers out with his foot?
Lutinos tend to have a bald head. She was born like that. I'm not concerned as it isn't too bad, plus new feathers are growing out.

Ok. I noticed after I commented that there were some pinfeathers on her crest. My grey male cockatiel got balder as he got old.

Somehow I’m thinking of that head spray paint they used to advertise for bald spots on late night tv. I always thought that was really funny.
