What about target training while inside the cage? You can teach him to go to different perches while inside the cage for a reward, then you can work on targeting him to come out of the cage?

Teach him to come out of the cage because he wants to, not because he has to.

Target training, and training in general are all fantastic. It allows your bird to associate you with something fun.

I highly recommend touch training as the first stage of training birds. In my opinion it works best with a clicker.

I would like to report that Peanut problem was not getting enough sleep, I have been putting Peanut to bed no later than 19:30 for the last two days and been doing a little training. Yesterday s/he was a diffrent bird, sat on my shoulder and played with me, we are still going to have to do some more training bez still trys now and then to flap away but I am working out why and trying to meet Peanut needs at that time,

I would like to thank everybody for ur help, and will keep you updated about Peanut and my relationship

Sometimes, it's amazing the difference one small change can make! Glad you were able to figure out what was setting Peanut off!
