Ollie is molting and also well into puberty at the ripe age of 3. He seems to want me to do his pin feathers but likes to cuss me out while I'm doing them lol. He'll let me pick one but whole I'm looking for the next one he yells at me and beaks me (never applies pressure). Poor Ollie! He's very confused. Thought I'd give some encouragement to all who have cranky birds this time a year... you're not alone and it will pass.

I tried to watch your video but Lilly cussed me out for daring to look at another bird! She has pin feathers too, teeny tiny itty bitty ones that are VERY hard to get at!

It's just THAT time of year here in the States!

Kermit just wants nonstop scritches, Bluebell looks like a porcu-budgie, Ducky’s crest looks skimpy, and Pearl is missing a lot of tail and flight feathers... yeah, definitely molting season!
