In my search for new and interesting foods for Zilla I have come across Pummelos on sale and was wondering if they are safe to feed her... I tried google and got the same results I usually do, nothing about if they are safe for parrots or not...

I would love you help you with this one...but I don't even know what a pummelo is...lol...sorry:09:

I'm not sure what it is either, just happened to be reading the weekly grocery add and saw they have them on sale. I'm always trying to find new things to offer her so she doesn't get bored with the same stuff every day.

Funny, that's exactly what I was thinking...

I just looked it up, it's in the grapefruit family... so it depends on whether or not your bird likes citrus.

I feed mine citrus.

My CAG and my Lilac Crowned might eat it. My greenwing likes oranges, but that's about it with citrus. None of my other birds would ever touch it...
