Hoping really really hard to have a birdie in a few weeks. As of right now I have an EGG! (well not literally with me;)
Hi everyone!

The breeder I am working with has found me two leads. One is local and the other is in California. Later this week I will be taking a deposit so I can get my baby!
My intentions are to get a pineapple GCC, the one that is local is a mix between a pineapple gcc and a turquoise GCC. The daddy is the turquoise which belongs to her and she advised me that it is a very smart and calm bird.
Is there anything that I should ask her?
I guess once we get together we are going to plan the diet, living arrangements, etc.
This is really exciting for me, but I want to make sure I am prepared and ask the right questions.
Thanks! :rainbow1:

She does give me a health gaurantee and runs some tests before I can take him/her.
I've been to her house and you can tell she is very clean, and trully loves all of her birds.
She comes highly recommended.

That sound beautiful! A turquoise pineapple?! Awesome:) lucky you! Everytime I get ready to buy my baby something comes up! Lol basically what you want to know is if the bird is healthy if its gonna stay healthy and what they're doing to keep him healthy and happy! There are lots of questions to find this out:)

Congrats on your new baby! Make sure you flood this thread with pics:)

Sounds like you are dealing with the right person, and yes I do agree with DannyA93 about a turquoise pineapple, awesome deal. Cant wait to see what they turn out to look like. Congrats!

Everyone has been giving you good advise. You will need to find out what the bird's has been given as a diet. You can ask about it's living condition like if it lived alone or with sibilings. Also, a chance to interat with the bird would be good.
